Anti-aging and clues to a long, healthy life

Belief: The Marathon of Hope

How is the state of your health today? Are you overweight or obese… if you are, you have a lot of company… 74.1% of Americans and 61.1% of Canadians were in 2007. Guaranteed it’s worse today.

Do you feel every day of your years? Your knees hurt? You get out of bed exhausted most days? Getting out of a chair or a car difficult? And don’t even talk about climbing stairs.

Taking meds for high blood pressure? Cholesterol? Diabetes?

If you are any of the above, don’t despair. You can change the state of your health. It doesn’t matter whether you are 30, 50, 75, or 90. You can impact the quality of your health for the rest of your life.

Belief: The Road to Health
Belief: The Road to Health

You must start with belief. Believe you can achieve better health. You can lose the weight. You can have more energy. You can get off your meds.

Once you believe this with all your heart, you will find a way to make it happen. Information on how to achieve this abounds in this knowledge-based world we live in today. The internet, books, blogs like this. They all give you the tools to chart a new you.

But it must start with belief.

What if you see no hope? You’re too far gone? Never.

A healthy ‘you’ isn’t a sprint. It’s a marathon.

Suppose a lifelong non-athlete were to decide to run a marathon in a year. How would he achieve that goal? He’d start by walking around the block. Then two blocks the next day. Then four. After a couple of weeks of this, it might be a light jog for 6 or 7 minutes. After a few months, he may have worked his way up to a 10k… something thought impossible at the beginning. Keep up this progression and he runs a marathon as planned.

The point is, accept where you are at today with your health. Start slowly. Change your habits. Learn. Adopt The MEANS to an End Lifestyle™.

Know that if you believe to your very core you can… and deserve… a better quality of life, it will happen. Guaranteed.
